634 pounds of household items collected for EkamUSA drive for homeless. Drive was run for 20 days passing along flyers in the neighborhoods and collecting the items, sorting, packing and dropping off.

Clothing and accessories drive for EkamUSA to donate to Epilepsy Foundation collecting any gently used items - clothing, footwear, outerwear, backpacks, bedding, accessories. Excited to have collected more than 30 bags and counting ..

Exciting talking to more than 50 kids from Indonesia as a guest speaker spread the joy of learning, sharing my passion for coding, teaching and how we all kids can be the change makers. And especially enjoyed answering all the questions from the kids.

Spread smiles and cheers across on Valentine's Day by making cards and packages for the elderly in the Robins Brook Senior shelter. We made 30 packages spreading love. It was exciting to go to the shelter and drop off the packages.

Groceries to Acton Food Pantry - Donated $250 worth of non perishables which are on critical need items list for the holidays - Canned soups, canned vegetables, beans, pasta boxes, chips, cookies, tomato sauce, juices, cereal. This was part of funds raised through “Jar of Hope” project.

UNICEF Fundraiser - We continued to make and sell more "Hope Jars" in the Christmas craft fairs to raise funds for supporting UNICEF children worldwide initiatives. $750 raised and donated to UNICEF.

Supporting local Toy Drives - "Hope Jars" made and sold in the local communities to raise funds for buying toys to be donated in Toys For Tots donation centers in police stations.

Spreading holiday cheer to families in need.

We wanted to do our little part to spread the holiday cheer to more kids in need !! We made more than 200 of these beautiful Christmas ornaments to be sold through various channels to raise funds to support kids in need and to donate to organizations supporting the kids.

Book Drive in association with People For India (PFI) and Ekam USA to benefit underprivileged children in Hyderabad. Raised funds for $200 towards shipping the books to India !!

Hope Jars Initiative - Many kids in this world never get to open a gift. We wanted to do something little we can to make a difference, to bring a smile on a kids face this holiday season. We initiated a GoFundMe fundraiser to support the HopJar initiative and raised more than $1500 so far. Thanks Giving Food drive in neighborhood to pack and donate 75 meal packages to all guests at Lowell Transitional Homeless Shelter. It was the most meaningful thanksgiving to get together with all our friends to cook, pack and donate scrumptious thanksgiving meal.

Acton-Boxborough United Way Week of Action - Chalk the Walk for Racial Justice - to make chalk art around the themes of diversity, inclusion, equity and racial justice. It is an important topic for all of us to talk about and raise more awareness and this is such a creative way to showcase with chalk the walk event.

Boxborough Fire Relief Fundraiser - Several families were displaced by a fire in one of the local communities. We have started a campaign to raise funds to support the families. $1000 raised from the campaign donated to "Acton Boxborough United Way", who managed a coordinated effort to help the families. VTSeva's "Saplings For Education" Project - We sold around 200 saplings raising $600 which helped support the education of two visually challenged kids of Nethra Vidyalaya for a full year - a very fulfilling project giving the gift of education to children in need.

Chale Chalo for India - Bike Ride to support #IndiaCovid19Response initiative by India Association of Greater Boston and several other New England Organizations coming together to support and raise funds for covid relief in India.

I made an animation using scratch programming on "Composting". This is to raise awareness on the importance of compost process and how it helps to control the climate change and global warming. We all need to do whatever we can to save our planet. Watch the video below to learn more.
